I have been following Highsnobiety for many years to get updates on street wear, but never have I thought I would be writing an article for them. After eating 5+ food trucks, a little writing and a lot of editing I got published. Check out the article here and tell me what you think!

I have always wanted to be a lot of things. In elementary school, growing up with Snoopy and Calvin and Hobbes, I wanted to be cartoonist. After learning guitar in attempts to impress ladies in high school, I wanted to be a rock star. Before college I wanted to take my passions of art, Legos, and physics and become an Architect. Eight college applications later, I got rejected from the Architecture programs I applied to and had been accepted to 4 Universities that offered me their engineering program. Fast forward 8+ years later (time is flying), I am a licensed Professional Engineer.
As someone who used to always cook following a written recipe, developing a dish on my own seemed impossible. I wasn't too successful until recently when I stumbled upon Grant Achatz' (Alinea) video on flavor bouncing. It gave me the opportunity to look into the mind of the chef at one of best restaurants in the world, and a foundation to start planning my own dishes.
